The short title is River Kelvin Walkway and Forth & Clyde Canal.
Starting at Kelvinhall Subway, hooking round the old Partick central railway station and up beside the Kelvinhall. Here is the first SPLIT where one half goes north bank, other half go southbank, meeting up at next bridge. Through Kelvingrove alongside the river and following upstream to Botanic Gardens where we'll cross and follow the highup path to the Kirklee park entrance. The 2nd split where one goes through the arboretum, the other goes the rough path, meeting at the next crossing. Onward and upward along old railway lines and bridges to the Canal aquaduct where we turn towards Anniesland (coffee stop). From there, there is a choice of Victoria Park, Partick (home) or the Clyde Tunnel walkway :D
It's a long walk but plenty to see including old and new buildings, flint mill ruins, bridges and more bridges, some active, some dead, some gone. Wildlife, nature, flowers... and so on
