Details of the St. Mary Immaculate Parish Giving Tree program for the 2009 Christmas season were announced by Fr. David Medow, Pastor. “We need everyone’s help this year even more than in the past, simply because the need is greater” he stated. “What a wonderful way to bring Christ’s love and a little Christmas joy to the less fortunate.”

Each year St. Mary Immaculate’s Giving Tree program distributes approximately 1,000 gifts to nine organizations including Plainfield nursing homes, youth centers, Guardian Angel Home in Joliet, the Interfaith Food Pantry, Daybreak Shelter and to a Chicago parish in a disadvantaged area.

Wish lists and tags for both Adopt-A-Family and individuals are available in the St. Mary Immaculate Gym before and after all masses, through Saturday, December 5th. All gifts or donations are due back to the Gym on Sunday, December 6 between 7:00 am & 1:30 pm so distribution can begin.

St Mary Immaculate is located at 15629 S. Route 59 in Plainfield.
