Looking for a unique way to help those in need this holiday season? The Orange County Rescue Mission is seeking Christmas decoration donations from the community to decorate its transitional living facility, The Village of Hope, for Christmas!
Many of the formerly homeless residents of the Village of Hope have not celebrated Christmas in years, including children, many of whom have never had a Christmas.
Help spread Christmas cheer to the 192 men, women and children living at The Village of Hope by helping to decorate the 6,000 square-foot facility, and get the facilities residents into the Christmas spirit.
The Village of Hope residents will be holding a “Decorating Day” on Tuesday, December 4 where all residents will be working together to decorate their temporary home, and the decoration donations are needed before this date.
Suggested donations include Christmas lights, Christmas banners, wreaths, garland and other festive decorations.
Donations can be dropped off at the Village of Hope from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., now through Tuesday, December 4.
