Girl Scout Day June 6, 2009

There will be tables set up for visitors to learn more about the Girl Scouts, and sponsorship opportunities for Operation:Cookie, which sends Girl Scout cookies to troops serving Iraq and Afghanistan, and to those recuperating at Walter Reed Medical Center and the Naval Hospital in Bethesda, Maryland. T-shirts will be on sale, with proceeds going to benefit Girl Scouts of Suffolk County. Girl Scouts will be doing activities and making crafts. They will also explore the game farm as they visit different exotic animals, enjoy the variety of shows and go on the fun, exciting rides.
