GIRAFFES at SXSW March 16, 2005

The Giraffes are my favourite metal (ok hard rock"?") band... Damien Paris can lick out a guitar solo that'll leave you so wet your panties'll slide off your legs... add to that and Drew Totolos on drums hammering your mind into submission, and the commanding presence the monumental front man Aaron Lazar (remember that guy who hacked of the toe of The David because it was "too perfect"... Aaron had better watch his feet!) and it's almost perfect... but then it hits you - the vibrational sensation of Bass Player John Rosenthal rising up through your belly ... besides who can resist the shy guy in a parade of flagrant extroverts??? NOT TO BE MISSED!!!!!
