Gilda's Club NYC 15th Anniversary Benefit Gala November 18, 2010

Gilda's Club New York City (GCNYC) will honor The Miss Universe Organization, Dr. Elliott Sigal and Dr. Andrew Dannenberg on Thursday, November 18, 2010 at their 15th Anniversary Benefit Gala. This exciting affair will be held at the renowned Pierre Hotel. The evening will begin with a cocktail hour and silent auction, followed by a formal dinner, award ceremony and live auction. Donations made will enable GCNYC to raise awareness and help fulfill its mission to provide social and emotional support for everyone living with cancer in New York City, including their families and friends – FREE of charge.

Dr. Sigal and Dr. Dannenberg will be honored for their acheivements in Breast Cancer research and patient care. In addition, a special presentation of “The Bill Modell Heart of Gold Award” will be made to The Miss Universe Organization for their outstanding volunteer efforts within our community for the past 12 years. Each year the reigning Miss USA has volunteered for GCNYC and helped to raise funds for our program; as well as participating in our many social events for members including Noogiefest, our annual Halloween Party for children.

GCNYC is proud to have ABC’s Diana Williams host the event for her sixth year in a row.
