Gigi's Gen-X Singalong, Vol. 2: The Violent Femmes April 19, 2009

(New York, NY) – On April 19th, 2009, Cinema Gnome will present a celebration of the music and culture of the Reagan-Bush I era, Gigi’s Gen-X Singalong is for anyone who has spent a few too many evenings sitting around listening to their old cassette tapes.

Last year, Gig’s Gen-X Singalong, Vol. 1 The Smiths twice presented ten original videos based on songs from the Smiths’ 1986 album “The Queen is Dead.” In 2009, Vol. 2: The Violent Femmes will continue the tradition with 12 new videos of songs from the band’s 1982 self-titled debut. The mass karaoke event returns to the Union Square hot spot, Bar 13.
