This exhibition presents a wide variety of spectacular objects donated to the museum by individuals, families and clubs from every part of the state and beyond. Objects on display include: geological specimens; butterflies - both domestic and exotic; a mounted Cooper's Hawk; Amish, African American, and Native American quilts; Osage-Sac, Blackfeet, and Seminole dolls; Native American jewelry; paintings and drawings by past and contemporary Illinois Artists; a Native American Beaver pendant or earring from early to mid-1700s; Chicago studio ceramics; and Depression glass.
