Gifts of Unity: Oakland Youth Chorus' 2012 Holiday Concert December 15, 2012

For nearly 40 years, Oakland Youth Chorus' holiday concerts have been a wonderful tradition to celebrate the season. Join Oakland Youth Chorus and those who love seeing the art of choral music come alive as over 100 young singers fill the air with beautiful music.

OYC's singers, ages 5 to 18, come from afterschool and community programs all over Oakland and Alameda, with singers from these and surrounding communities. They will warm up a chilly December evening with traditional and exciting new arrangements of songs from around the world this holiday season. Songs like Hine Ma Tov, Candle of Peace, Ave Verum Corpus, Carol of the Jazz Bells and many others will open your heart and get you into the holiday spirit.
