Presented by Kearny Street Workshop

February 6 & 13, 6:30-9:30 pm

Hallmark Card Shmallmark Card! Just in time for Valentine's Day, learn how to screen print and bind your original love poems, short story or other-content chapbooks in multiples.

In two sessions, workshop participants will learn the skills and access equipment to produce hand-bound, screen-printed chapbooks using tabletop Gocco print machines from Japan, needles and thread. Come try out the Gocco, learn about quick and crafty chapbook production or, with advance preparation and planning, print and finish an edition of up to 20 chapbooks of your own, suitable for giving.

A separately-scheduled chapbook reading by emerging and published authors in Celebration of the Chapbook, and an opportunity to sell or trade your chapbook, will follow.
