Recognizing the tremendous talent of the duo, both New York Magazine, as well as L.A’s well-respected KCRW DJ Anthony Valadez, named their self-titled album (2009) as one of the “Top Ten Best” of the year. Most notably, the band got tremendous support by Prince, Gilles Peterson, and Adele. Coco’s unique voice also caught the attention of Tyler, The Creator and spawned collaboration between the two artists.
