GIANT Speed Dating & SIngles Dance hits the Central Coast! May 10, 2008

This is bound to be the BIGGEST Speed Dating event the Central Coast has ever seen! Here is how it goes:

To register for this event see the listing at http://www.centralcoastsinglesonline.com/events.html and click on the link to sign up using the online form. You will come to the event to pay and check in at 6 pm. Mingling starts at 6 pm for speed daters and free observers. If you only wish to see the event, you can attend free.

By 7 pm you will be assigned your starting tables, and timing will begin. Each couple will have 7 minutes to get acquainted. If you do not have your own questions, we will provide some suggestions.

The speed dating will go on until everyone has had a chance to rotate. Once that is done, each group will get up and mingle with each other until all groups are done. This is your chance to get back to those who interested you to chat some more. You will hand in your form to let us know who you want further contact with, and we will arrange to get that information to them that night. If they are receptive to your offer, we will pull you aside to chat some more, or provide contact information to both of you.

There will be prizes for participants that received the most votes, and door prizes for participants. Votes will be tallied up that night, and they will be recognized just before the dance.

We will have a period of mingling for everyone after speed dating, and dancing will start when everyone is ready, or by 9 PM. DJ Avery will spin the tunes for us, with his light show and great sound system. He has done other events for us, and we invited him back for this special occasion. Let's have fun!

6:00 PM Check in and start mingling before the event starts.
7:00 PM Speed Dating starts!
8:00 PM Singles mingle and prizes
9:00 PM Dance with DJ Avery

Age groups will be: 21-29
30-42
43-54
55+

Cost: Speed Dating $30 (includes dance & mingling)
Mingling FREE (must leave by start of dance)
Dance (without speed dating) $5

This is a great opportunity, so I hope you will sign up to let us know you will make it to this event! If you decide to participate at the last minute and have not submitted an application, come to the Grange Hall and see if we still have available spaces.

We will also tape interviews and a few shots of the speed dating.
