Are you new to the world of digital photography, or have you had a digital camera for a while, and still don't feel you're getting the most from it? If so, join naturalist and photographer Bob Speare for a workshop designed to help understand the features of digital cameras, and use the landscape and creatures of Habitat to practice techniques to help improve your digital photography. We'll review topics such as optical and digital zoom, white balance, ISO, and resolution. In addition, we will cover proper lighting, focus, depth of field, and composition. Then, we'll take a look at some software applications that will help enhance your images, and learn how to crop and size them properly to create stunning prints. Registration is required. Call 617-489-5050 for details. See http://www.massaudubon.org/catalog/listing.php?program_code=1289-HA10FA1 for more information.
