Get Wet Beginners Kayak Program With Cabela's December 3, 2010

Two sessions involved. Dec. 3 and Dec 18. Adventurous first time paddlers are asked to join us at the Glendale Cabela's on Friday, December 3 @ 7 PM for a fun beginner look into the world of flat water lake kayaking. Topics will include safety, gear, kayaks, paddle techniques, lake navigation tips and paddling networking contacts. Participants will additionally have the chance to sign up for one of the "Get Wet" beginner on-water paddling sessions at Lake Pleasant for only $35 pp. This includes the use of kayak, paddle, PFD, private dock, park ranger staff and a three hour program, including two hours of paddling on Lake Pleasant. This program is slow paced and family oriented. Participants will be instructed on Friday evening on what to bring, what to wear, and where to go for the on-water session. The minimum age is 12 years old for the on-water session. Sign-up will be conducted at Cabela's Friday session.
