The City of Berkeley is ramping up their Disaster Preparedness program.
Saturday, May 6th is ?Get Ready Berkeley Day?. Volunteers are needed! 10:00am ? 1:00pm
Volunteers will meet at the Frances Albrier Community Center and receive information to walk door-to-door distributing door hangers with lifesaving information to thousands of residents. At 12:30, the Berkeley Fire Fighters Association will host a BBQ for the volunteers and a prize drawing will be held. All volunteers will receive a safety device.
Disaster Prepared Neighborhoods:
