Getting famous isn’t just for rock stars, movie stars or major political figures. Business people can also become famous in their specific industry sectors. Whatever kind of consulting you do, you can become a rock star in your business world. As an extraordinary, go-to person, you’ll find new doors opening and opportunities that you never imagined presenting themselves.

You get to the top of the charts through a specific branding process that creates the key messages and selling points necessary for your meteoric rise. By defining a strategy and learning how to position yourself to be noticed, you too can get famous. At January’s BACN meeting, Dennis Erokan will take you through the necessary steps so that you can enter the world of fame and notoriety.

All attendees will receive a copy of Placemaking Group’s Branding Blueprint worksheet and the chance to complete and share portions of the document with others for critique and discussion. This will allow participants to define their vision, the key differentiators that can put them on the path to getting famous, and the key message—how they want people to remember them.

Deliverables:

* Getting Famous Branding Blueprint Worksheet
* Getting Famous Vision
* Getting Famous Key Message

About the Speaker

Dennis Erokan learned the value of getting famous from San Francisco concert promoter Bill Graham. Bill learned it from a hotel manager in the Catskills. Dennis’s own first foray into fame was the creation of BAM Magazine and the Bay Area Music Awards (or “Bammies”) in the late 1970s. Since then, Dennis has orchestrated the creation of 10 successful niche publications and a CEO think tank, as well as founding marketing and communications services agency The Placemaking Group. Dennis explains his job as “building heroes.”
