Get Cooking at Westfield Sarasota Square with Free Westfield Family Fun Days April 21, 2012

Get cooking in April—join Westfield Sarasota Square and the Westfield Family Program for Family Fun Days featuring “Young Chefs of Westfield.” Kids will learn how to fuel their bodies in a healthy way by encouraging them to get in the kitchen and cook with their families.

April 21 will feature stories about food and gardening, starting with Pizza at Sally’s by Monica Wellington, which teaches lessons about where food comes from. The second book, Planting A Rainbow by Lois Ehlert, teaches children how to plant their own garden and nurture growth. Kids will then enjoy a snack and decorate their very own aprons that they can wear when helping out in the kitchen.
