Get Cooking at Westfield Brandon with Free Westfield Family Fun Days April 19, 2012

Get cooking in April—join Westfield Brandon and the Westfield Family Program for Family Fun Days featuring “Young Chefs of Westfield.” Kids will learn how to fuel their bodies in a healthy way by encouraging them to get in the kitchen and cook with their families.

On April 19, join us at Blondie’s Cookies for a fun demonstration of cookie making and decorating. Join us for stories about food and gardening, starting with Pizza at Sally’s by Monica Wellington, which teaches lessons about where food comes from. The second book, Planting A Rainbow by Lois Ehlert, teaches children how to plant their own garden and nurture growth! Kids will then tap into their own creativity by decorating their own cookie and personal apron.
