Get Back to School Ready at the Florida Blue Center's August 14th Health Fair August 14, 2010

This month, the Miami Florida Blue Center invites local residents to its monthly Health Fair in celebration of “Back to School” season on Saturday, August 14th. Visitors will not only learn about healthy living, but also about the importance of staying up to date on immunizations as August is National Immunization Awareness Month.

Welcoming members and non-members from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. attendees can receive FREE health screenings (measuring important health indicators, a $95 value); FREE expert one-on-one consultations; FREE relaxing massages; information on proper immunization schedules; and opportunities to win prizes from Florida Blue.

Plus as a special this month, the Miami Florida Blue Center will be providing exercise tips and other ways to get in shape.

Visitors can also tour the Miami Florida Blue Center, a revolutionary consumer service experience in health care that lets visitors shop for health insurance, learn about their specific plans, receive preventative care screening and participate in monthly wellness events.
