Gestational Diabetes January 5, 2010

The Gestational Diabetes Class is held Tuesdays, from 9-11am in the High-Risk OB clinic on the 1 st floor of Taubman Center (Reception Area E). The classes are scheduled through the high risk OB clinic (734) 763-6295. You will learn what gestational diabetes is, how it is diagnosed, how to treat it with meal planning and glucose monitoring. The purpose of the treatment is to keep the blood sugar near the target range to decrease risks to the baby and the mother.
