Canadian baritone Gerald Finley, fresh from a triumphant performance of Mendelssohn’s Elijah with the New York Philharmonic, returns to the Met Opera singing the role of Golaud in the company’s Jonathan Miller-helmed production of Debussy’s impressionistic masterpiece, Pelléas et Mélisande. England’s Simon Rattle makes his long-awaited Met debut behind the podium.
