George Harrison Birthday Bash February 23, 2011

George Harrison (1943 - 2001) may have been called the "Quiet Beatle," but his talents were heard around the world. This homage to the Dark Horse includes George's Apple Records labelmate Joey Molland with Shakespeare's Pipe, plus 33 & 1/3 and KYX. Joey knew George well, and can be seen on stage with Harrison in the incredible movie 'The Concert for Bangladesh.' In the spirit of George's charitable works, proceeds benefit wonderfulworldofmusic.org, bringing music to MN schoolkids. Celebrate George's birthday week with a tribute to the legendary man.
