The April edition of GeoDC's meetup will take place at Stetson's Famous Bar and Grill at 1610 U St NW, just a few blocks from the U St/Cardozo Metro stop on the Green Line.
We'll get started at 7:00 pm with a round of lightning talks - quick, informal five minute presentations on anything map related that you're working on, getting stuck on, or want to start a conversation around. So far we have one volunteer to give a talk. Robert Soden from Development Seed will talk about his recent trip to Port-au-Prince with the Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Team to conduct training and outreach on using OpenStreetMap in earthquake recovery efforts and making the local project sustainable.
If you'd like to give a talk, post about it in the comments at http://geo-dc.ning.com/events/april-geodc-meetup and come ready to talk.
