2006 GRAMMY NOMINEES: Gentle Thunder is a multi-instrumentalist (grand hammer dulcimer, Native American flutes, and drums), composer, producer and member of The Recording Academy whose musical journey began in the Seattle area as a rock-n-roll drummer. Her solo performances in the U.K., Canada, the U.S., Greenland, Denmark and Europe have garnered her an international following. Both live and on recording, Gentle Thunder enchants audiences around the globe with her distinctive sound and heart-filled presence.
Will Clipman is a multi-percussionist (udu, djembe, Taos drums, and drumset), member of The Recording Academy, two-time Grammy® nominee, and two time NAMA winner, most recently in 2005 for the Nakai Quartet’s People of Peace. Known as the perfect partner, Will has recorded over fifty albums, including twenty-one for Canyon Records, where he is regarded as the house percussionist.
