In case anyone is wondering, this is the official posting for Silicon Valley Code Camp 2008. I'm sure the other person that posted about this event had good intentions:

http://upcoming.yahoo.com/event/814502/

However, that event posting has broken links and lacks important new information about things like session submission deadlines and our twitter feed. Please refer to this entry rather than that one for the 2008 camp. Thanks!

Have you ever met an impressive somebody at a developer event? Have you had a hard time finding him/her because you lost or did get the contact info? How much bandwidth do you have to go through the pile of business cards you end up with every time?

Stop doing it the old-fashion way and join the newly created LinkedIn Group http://www.linkedin.com/e/gis/976557

This group is meant to be a discussion hub for the community organizers, the speakers, and the attendees of the Silicon Valley Code Camp. It will help them find each other, get connected, and communicate. Don't be a social outcast and join the community.
