This acclaimed pianist has performed across the globe with orchestras in Bulgaria, China and Brazil. Her solo performances have been heard from New York City’s Merkin Concert Hall to Paris’s Salle Gaveau, and as a champion of new music, Genevieve has been a guest performer with XTET, one of Los Angeles’ leading new music groups. Her solo CD "Elements" released by Albany Records features the premiere recordings of works written for her by Tom Flaherty and Philippe Bodin.
Her eclectic program includes a J. S. Bach toccata for harpsichord, to two world premieres – "One," for speaking pianist by Kurt Rohde and "Nine Vignettes" by Karl Kohn. "One" was composed for Ms. Lee, and is 13 reflections on poems of Jakob Stein which utilizes assorted percussion instruments. This special recital also features the first live audio/video-streaming duet at Pomona College. Joining Ms. Lee, is Lois Svard, at Bucknell University (Pennsylvania), and they will perform the Duke Ellington/Billy Strayhorn duet, "Tonk."
