Impro Melbourne burst from the gates with their first season for 2012: GENERATIONS - a new team-based Impro format that the whole family can enjoy! Running every Sunday in March at The Space in Prahran this new season borrows elements from Theatresports and Gorilla Theatre, pitting team against team in a WWE-style frenzy - just like the family's Sunday roast!

Like all the best competitions, the teams for GENERATIONS contain well seasoned improvisers from across the company AND the new kids on the block; bringing together faces new and old. It's a competition that spans GENERATIONS, and we all know how that ends...

With FOUR SHOWS ONLY it’s time to dust off the Grandparents, pull the kids out of school and throw on your best frock because Impro Melbourne are ready and raring to bridge the generational divide!

GENERATIONS will feature some of Australia’s most prominent improvisational actors: Jason Geary (National Theatresports™ Champion 2010 and 2011), Patti Stiles (International ‘Queen of Impro’ and National Theatresports™ Champion 2010), Lliam Amor (National Theatresports™ Champion 2009), Rama Nicholas (National Theatresports™ Champion 2009), Jimmy James Eaton (National Improvisor Best and Fairest 2009), Michelle Nussey (National Theatresports™ Champion 2010), Sarah Kinsella (Victorian Theatresports™ Champion 2010 and 2011), Mark Gambino (Victorian Theatresports™ Champion 2010) and Amanda Buckley (Sydney Theatresports™ Cranston Cup Champion 2010).
