Local author Anita Wills will be here to offer tips on Genealogy searching, as well as relating her personal quest. Writer of the book Pieces of the Quilt: The Mosaic of an African American Family, she traces her relatives back to Revolutionary times, and to South Carolina, Virginia, Pennsylvania and Liberia. Her Family was mixed with white and Indian blood, which made her search a true challenge. Ms. Wills’ experience should be helpful to anyone tracking their own heritage.
