Genealogical Society of Bergen County: September Meeting September 27, 2010

This month the Genealogical Society of Bergen County will be focused around a lecture given by professional genealogist Sharon Hodges. The lecture, titled 'Migration Routes in America: How Did Your Family Get There and Why Did They Go?' addresses some of the reasons that may have caused your ancestors to leave their homes, the routes that they took, and why they chose to settle in their new location, may lead to a greater understanding of what their lives were like prior to 1850.
