Looking for a way to include space science in your curriculum or after-school program? Interested in exploring nationally field-tested activities for teaching about the Solar System and beyond? Join us for professional development on the GEMS Space Science Sequence for 6th - 8th graders. Register for Session 1 ("How Does the Sun Affect the Earth?" and "Why Are There Seasons?") and/or Session 2 ("The Solar System," and "Beyond the Solar System"). Choose one or both of the above sessions.For more information about the Space Science Sequence, visit the Lawrence Hall of Science GEMS page.Educators who attend both sessions may elect to register for one semester hour of graduate credit from National Louis University for an additional $135. Please note that there is a fee associated with this workshop, which will cover the cost of the teacher curriculum guide that participants receive at the workshop. When you register, you will be asked to submit the payment online. Be advised that your place in the workshop is not secured until you have submitted this payment.Cost : Teachers of grades 6-89 CPDUs per session$40 per session (includes curriculum guide and lunch)
