Gemini Soul will be performing 2 shows of their eclectic blend of jazz funk-fusion at the Hedley Club Lounge; March 21st @ 8:30 pm and 10:30 pm; Free Admission. Gemini Soul's performances have been compared to the pop funk jazz fusion of Herbie Hancock and Miles Davis and the funkiness of Marcus Miller and Stanley Clarke.

Gemini Soul will perform material from their new double CD "Dark Skin Babies : The Movement," released February 10, 2009. It reached #13 on Amazon.com's Hot New Releases "Bestselling New & Future Releases" in Jazz Fusion. Dark Skin Babies : The Movement features a two CD set, which contains 20 tracks of non-stoppable experimental jazz funk-fusion at its best. With all songs produced, arranged and composed by Andre Ajamu Akinyele, bandleader and bassist, this marks as Gemini Soul's fifth album. This is Gemini Soul's most political and social conscience collection to date. "Dark Skin Babies : The Movement" is the follow-up to their 2008 release "The Nefertiti Xperience."
