John McKerrell will be talking about the OpenStreetView project which launched last week and is aiming to build a large openly licensed repository of moderated street level photography. Initially this will have uses within the OpenStreetMap community but the hope in the future is to expand it into something that rivals Google Street View.

Who can attend GeekUp?
While the focus for GeekUp is predominately web related anybody involved in the technology industry is more than welcome to attend a GeekUp. The monthly events are free, we just ask that you buy your own beer.
