GeekUp is a growing community of web designers, web developers, and other web-minded folk from the North West who meetup in Manchester to discuss the latest industry news, share ideas and spread a little knowledge.

This month we meet at a new venue and two talks are planned. Stuart Frisby of 36 Degrees will be giving us a presentation entitled 'A quick and dirty introduction to widget development for OSX' will have us all widget experts by the end of it and Graham Pengelly of Mainline Consultants will ensure we meet health and safety guidelines after his 'The Hazards of being a Nerd' session.
