Geeks Talk Sexy – LGBT Geeks Stand Proud March 18, 2011

Its now the time for the geeks talk sexy flash light to cast a light on the subject of being Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transsexual in geek culture in 2011. We’ll be looking at the attitudes of there fellow geeks and how the infighting causes even more confusion. We’ll also be asking the same question we asked of our straight people, how do you meet people / how have you met people?

Ben Light, (@doggyb) Professor of Digital Media at the University of Salford, is well known for his views on LGBT issues and regularly talks about how LGBT people are treated in greater society. Following his electrifying talk on Gaydar at TedxManchester we have got roped him into talking about being gay in geek culture. Expect another electrifying talk!
