Geek Wine Thing Field Trip September 9, 2008

Wile away a summers evening with friends, winetasting at the nearby
vineyard of the RidgeView Estate. Nestled in the South Downs near
Ditchling, RidgeView is celebrated for its nutrient rich soil,
geographically similar to the Champagne regions of France. Take a
minibus with fellow Brighton Geeks, enjoy the complementary canapés
and see if you can tell the difference between RidgeView sparkling
white wine and major brand Champagnes in a blind tasting test. The
trip includes cost of the minibus and driver, a comprehensive tour of
vineyard and winery, and entrance to the wine tasting
