Billy Butler and the Monster Makers return to Joe's Pub for another concert of their pop/rock musical hit, 'Gay Bride of Frankenstein.' Hailed as "the 'Rocky Horror' for a new generation," it has had regional success as well as a run at NYMF in 2009. This new concert version will feature past members of the cast as well as the creators, Dane Leeman narrating and Billy Butler on vocals and at the piano. "I liked this goofy, energetic show. But it owes more to 'Evil Dead: The Musical' than 'La Cage Aux Folles' and would be more accurately, though admittedly less flashily, titled 'Fanboy Lesbian Scooby-Doo Bride of Frankenstein.'
