God descends on Earth whenever irreligion predominates. An Avatar of God appeared in Bengal in 1486 named Shree Chaitanya. His life and teachings are described in the Chaitanya Mangala, Chaitanya Bhagavat and Chaitanya Charitamrita to name a few.
The evening of the 10th of March we will chant songs and prayers to Shree Chaitanya and listen to a talk about his unique contribution to the world in the form of Harinam Sankirtan or the congregational chanting of the Lord's holy names.
Afterwards a vegetarian feast will be served. Donations are welcome.
