Leila Levinson is the daughter of a World War II U.S. Army doctor and concentration camp liberator, Reuben Levinson. Her book "Gated Grief," deals with the legacy of trauma and the unspoken memories that continue to imprison and haunt World War II veterans. She now lives in Austin, Texas with her husband and two sons. She will discuss her book and her father's experiences in this public lecture.
