Gaslight Society CD release party Sept. 20 September 20, 2008

Gaslight Society will release its debut album on Sept. 20, and to mark the occasion, we're having a CD release party at Fat Tuesday's in Fairfax, Va.

Not only will we have CDs for sale for the special price of $5, we'll also have free stickers and a few surprises in store. Our friends in Bette Noir will open up for us.

Fat Tuesday's is at 10673 Braddock Road in University Mall. That's at the corner of Braddock and 123, right across the street from George Mason University. (The entrance is around the back.) Show starts at 9 p.m.

"Gaslight Society" features six of our original songs, capped with our own unique interpretation of Charley Patton's classic blues song "O Death," all recorded at Airtight S2dios in Vienna, Va.

We also hear that the kids these days like their iPods and Zunes and whatnot, so we'll have it up for sale on the Internets as well. Keep an eye out for the announcement of Gaslight Society on iTunes very soon.
