Gary Mendoza & The Used Blues Band December 6, 2008

The Used Blues Band is a group of experienced professional musicians from the Solano County area of California who are dedicated to performing live blues music for your dancing and listening enjoyment.

Gary stopped by our PO'BOYZ SUNDAY BLUES JAM last Sunday and got up to sing. The crowd really enjoyed his deep, smooth blues voice & Po'Boyz is looking forward to hearing more!

The Gary & the UBB perform at the Sacramento Blues Society's IBC Competition.
"Gary Mendoza & The Used Blues Band Tie for 1st Place!
A first ever tie at the Sacramento Blues Competition paired the Used Blues Band and The Aces of Santa Rosa for the coveted top spot in the competition.
A judges deliberation gave the grand prize of going to Memphis to The Aces to represent the Sacramento Blues Society at the International Blues Challenge.
There were so many great bands competing that is was a 7 course meal of the blues.
As a result of this placement in the event the band is already receiving many offers to perform at venues in and around the Sacramento area.
