Garrison Keillor is the host and writer of ?A Prairie Home Companion? and ?The Writer?s Almanac? heard on public radio stations across the country and the author of more than a dozen books, including ?Lake Wobegon Days,? ?The Book of Guys,? ?Love Me? and ?Homegrown Democrat.? A humorist whose name is synonymous with public radio and casual Midwestern charm, Keillor is also a frequent contributor to Time magazine, and until recently, wrote a biweekly advice column, ?Dear Mr. Blue,? for the online magazine, Salon.com.

Currently, the movie version of ?A Prairie Home Companion? is being filmed with an all-star cast and crew including Meryl Streep, Lily Tomlin, Lindsay Lohan, Woody Harrelson, Kevin Kline, Virginia Madsen, Tommy Lee Jones, director Robert Altman, and Keillor as himself. The film is expected in theaters this year.
