Garland Nursery’s 75th Anniversary Celebration April 21, 2012

After an amazing 75 years of growing with our wonderful community, we invite everyone to come out and celebrate with us! Enjoy live music, tours, as well as wine and food for purchase. Don’t miss out on entering to win prizes and enjoy fabulous one day only savings! Here are a few of our wonderful scheduled events:
11 a.m. Join the Ribbon Cutting. Be one of the first to see the unveiling and walk through the newly renovated Garland Historic Rock Garden.
At noon, we are hosting Heritage Tree Tours. Our business isn’t the only thing that has grown here. Over the past 75 years our trees have seen a lot of history. Join us on a tour of our nursery and learn more about the historic trees that grace our property.
At 2p.m., “Grow, Cook, Eat” with Willi Galloway. Master Gardener and award winning radio spokesperson, author and blogger, Willi Galloway will be giving us the ins and outs of growing your own urban garden and converting it to yummy treats for your kitchen. After the seminar Willi will have her new book, Grow Cook Eat: A Food-Lover’s Guide to Vegetable Gardening, available for sale and to sign.
