Expand your home gardening skills by growing your own fresh veggies. Learn the correct ways to plant and cultivate your own prize winning vegetables at a savings to you. Presented by Leslie Trimble, Master Gardener. $10

May 9 Continuous Color in your Garden
Plan your garden for color through the seasons. Color combinations and contrasts as well as early, mid and late season plants to make your property come alive. Presented by Janae Alberts and Marianne Martin, Master Gardeners. $10

June 13 Pollinators.....Sex in the Garden
Learn more about those interesting insects in your gardens and how they help us by their visits. See what plants attract them and keep them coming back again and again. Presented by Kathy Hornberger, Master Gardener. $10

July 11 The Good, the Bad, and the Buggy
Do you know the difference between good and bad bugs and how to eliminate the bad ones and keep the good ones? Learn new approaches to making your garden a haven for the good insects and controlling the bad ones with earth-friendly methods. Presented by Holly Thorpe, Master Gardener $10

August 8 Composting
Learn more about composting and its environmental benefits. Receive a free compost bin as well. Presented by Joe Daniels Master Gardener. $10

September 12 Green Lawn Care
Nancy Bosold Penn State turf expert will share techniques for environmentally friendly lawn care to help you care for your lawn like the experts. $10

October 10 Garden Design
Focus on the fundamentals. What you need to know to design your own garden. Appropriate for beginners, yet informative for all levels of gardeners. Presented by Marty Roelandt, Master Gardener $10

November 14 Soapmaking
Learn the basics of soapmaking. This is a hands-on workshop to help you make gifts for the upcoming holidays. Make your own healthy floral and herbal soaps and impress your friends. Limited to 20 attendees. Presented by Liana Bauerle, Master Gardener $15

December 12 Wreath Making
Create a one-of-a-kind holiday wreath using fresh greens. Bring pruners and rubber gloves. All other materials furnished. Presented by Julia King, Master Gardener. $20
