Garden Walking Tours in Fort Tryon Park August 23, 2009

Weekly tours resume of the Heather Garden. A member of the expert horticultural staff will guide visitors through this landmarked, three-acre garden that is situated high above the Hudson River with panoramic views of the New Jersey Palisades. Topics will include the history and horticulture of the garden. On the first Sunday of each month, the tour will include a visit to the Alpine Garden which is undergoing an extensive restoration.
