Recognizing that there is a wealth of local gardening projects in the Portland area that are concerned with feeding hungry people, our focus will be on coordinating the efforts of the various groups to strengthen community partnerships. We hope that in coming together, groups will be able to support each other and meet each other's needs through the sharing of information, resources, and people power.
Presenters include:
Village Gardens of Janus Youth Programs
Zenger Farm Growing Gardens
SE Food not Lawns
Vision into Action Coalition: Garden Project for Community
Interfaith Food and Farms Partnership (Ecumenical Ministries of Oregon)
All of the Community Commons gatherings are free and open to the public.
Refreshments will be served, all are welcome!
