Garden Fest April 18, 2009

Garden Fest is day full of fun for everyone in the family. This open-house for the Bakersfield College Agriculture Department has something for everyone. Garden Fest features free seminars with the pros in gardening, pets, floral design, and culinary arts. The event promotes plant sales from BC and community garden clubs; arts & crafts fair with BC campus clubs, local schools and non-profits;, a farmer's market, kid's corner with a petting zoo; local info about outdoor recreation; and food prepared by the BC Culinary Arts Program.
