Dromantine Centre, the historic home of the Society of African Missions in Newry, Northern Ireland, was the site of an interfaith floral symposium in the spring of 2006. Floral designers from around the world filled the beautiful manor house with floral designs reflecting their country's culture. Pamela J., well-known author and photographer of "Bouquets to Art", will take us through this extravaganza with her creative imagery and her commentary on her travels in Ireland.
An internationally recognized photographer, Pamela J. has two previous books: Bouquets to Art at the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco, and The Center of Attention with renowned floral designer Ron Morgan. Now her talents and her camera have taken her to Ireland, where she will take you, too. Her newest book, Dromantine in Bloom - Flowers in Praise of Diversity, will be available for purchase and signing after the lecture.
Fee: $20 members, $25 non-members, Class limit: 30.
