Lou Pappas celebrates a variety of pesto recipes and dishes with a participation style cooking class in the Carriage House. The menu will feature Smoked Salmon Dill Pesto Canapes, Mushrooms Baked with Arugula Pesto, Greens with Embellishments, Basil Pesto Chicken Breasts with Tomato Topping, Oregano Pesto Grilled Squash, Sage Pesto New Potatoes, and Raspberry Whipped Cream Cheese Tart. Wine will accompany the delicious meal, and you will take home all the recipes. Bring an apron.
Lou Seibert Pappas, one of Gamble Garden's most popular instructors, is an accomplished cook, a world traveler, and the author of more than 50 cookbooks, including Biscotti, Crepes, Coffeecakes, and Ice Creams & Sorbets. Lou enthusiastically grows many of her own fruits and vegetables in her garden in Palo Alto. This is a participation class; attendees should bring an apron and a pen. The recipes will be provided.
