Gallagher is an American comedian and prop comic. Born in Fort Bragg, North Carolina, he is known for smashing watermelons, Jell-o, and sundry other items with a sledgehammer he has dubbed his "Sledge-o-matic". His popularity is largely based on live appearances on a number of television specials, where those in the front rows of the audience must protect themselves from flying produce with plastic sheeting.
