Come join us for the ‘ A-B-CD’ release of Gale B Gardiner’s ‘Welcome Home’, a ‘journey thru genres’- Americana to Acoustic roots, Balkan ballads to Bluegrass, Contemporary classical to Contra dance band!Gale will be joined by special guests playing hammer dulcimer, mandolin, and penny whistle, with spoken word over piano (poets Colin Haskins & Marek Kowolik!). This journey is comparing and contrasting themes from the Dalmatian Suite on baby grand piano, Gibson 12 string guitar, Yamaha classical guitar and acoustic & amplified autoharps, with requests and favorites provided too.
Gale is an award winning songwriter who has performed in New England and along the East Coast, as well as in Europe including Croatia where the music followed her home. She was invited and selected to perform from 2008-2010 in the Women’s Composer Festival of Hartford (Welcome Home has 2 live recordings from this!)

Proceeds of CD sales will go to instruments for music programs for orphans in Bosnia/Croatia (Mostar), SD Native American Indian Reservation. Simply Smiles (via Kristen Graves!) and St. Vincent’s in Haiti where Gale will be going this July.
